| EDI Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators accredited by Ofqual | | | EDI have announced in their latest qualifications update that the EDI Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators has been accredited by Ofqual as a QCF qualification and is now being developed.
They anticipate that this qualification will be live for learner registration in February 2012. This qualification is based on the SIA Core Competencies for PI and is made up of the following two mandatory units:
1) Principles of Planning and Reporting Investigations
2) Principles of Gathering and Using Information for Investigations
This qualification will be assessed through Multiple Choice Tests and ID requirements must be met by learners as outlined by the SIA. Centres approved to offer the EDI Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators (NQF) will receive automatic approval for the EDI Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators (QCF).
